ABC Excellence in Construction
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO
RTM provided MEP engineering design for the year-round, 10-floor resort in Colorado Springs, CO. This 311-guestroom, all-suite hotel features several dining options, more than 20,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space, spas, and a 50,000-square-foot indoor water park. The expansive area includes a slide complex, wave pool, water playground, water obstacle course, a children’s pool, locker rooms and cabanas. The water park is kept at 84 degrees and is open every day of the year.
Along with water slides, the Great Wolf Lodge also includes an amusement park with climbing wall, miniature golf, bowling, and ropes course. In addition, the resort includes a store for souvenirs, apparel and gifts, a swim shop for water park users and a candy store.
The project received the ABC Excellence in Construction Award by the Associated Builders & Contractors of Oklahoma.
