What do you like best about working at RTM?
I appreciate that RTM cares equally as much about client satisfaction as it does for its employees. We regularly go above and beyond to cater to the needs of our clients – it is part of our culture at RTM. We appreciate our clients and RTM appreciates us – it is a win-win. I also value that I am viewed as an individual at RTM. This is especially impressive to me since RTM has grown substantially in recent years, and this type of positive environment will be important to maintain as we grow.
What do you bring to RTM?
I bring more than nine years of experience to RTM as an electrical designer. I was hired as a drafter and have continued to learn more about design and engineering from on-the-job training.
What was one of the most interesting projects you’ve worked on?
I have worked on a wide range of projects, such as data centers, fitness clubs, restaurants and residential apartment buildings. I enjoy them all, but with residential, I like to envision the design being built and then ask myself: ‘What would it be like if I lived here?’ This makes the design process more engaging and interesting to me.
What’s a fun fact about yourself?
Aside from my job, I work as a full-time volunteer. I’ve been learning the Hindi language for the last nine years and conduct free Bible study courses in Hindi. I also love to travel. Outside the U.S., I have been to England, Paraguay, Argentina, Canada, Hong Kong and Puerto Rico!
