RTM Engineering Consultants was pleased to be in attendance at the fundraising event hosted by The Israel Idonije Foundation, yesterday at the Thompson Hotel in Chicago.
The non-profit organization, committed to impacting underprivileged communities by providing programs focused on social and emotional life skills, presented Chicago Bears player, Robbie Gould with the 2016 Humanitarian Award for all the great work that his charity, The Goulden Touch, does to help those in need.
RTM’s Matt Zega and Scott DiGilio were delighted to attend this event, where they had an opportunity to see old friends and meet new ones, all coming together for a great cause— to help children achieve their goals, regardless of which communities they’re from. The night was filled with great conversation, while honoring the work of many and foreshadowing the impactful community work ahead.
“There’s nothing like coming together for a great cause,” said DiGilio. “The RTM team believes in giving back to our community, so we truly see the positive change brought about by foundations like The Israel Idonije Foundation and we can only hope that more companies will come together for the greater good of our communities.”
RTM also strives to make a difference in the neighborhoods they live and work, through their community outreach program. The company provides a variety of opportunities for its team members to give back, like mentorship, fundraising events, company-wide volunteer initiatives and team-building community events.
