RTM completed the MEP/FP system design of a 67-unit affordable housing development for low-income families and individuals. As the first phase of the Woodlawn Park Development, the project began the process of replacing the existing Grove Parc Plaza, a distressed 504-unit Section 8 complex that will be demolished in phases and rebuilt as a mixed-income community over a 4-year construction period. Two buildings of the project received LEED Silver and Energy Star certifications. Due to the praise of the community and the local office of HUD, the developer received a $31.5 million dollar grant to finish the development.
